Self catered holidays in the heart of the Alps

Chalet Iris is 400 metres from the centre of Chatel on the road leading to the Linga telecabin and Pre-la-Joux chairlifts. A free ski-bus service passes the door. Our apartment occupies the entire ground floor and  has its own garage and parking space.

With two bedrooms ( a double and a double with a single) a lounge and a large kitchen dining room it is ideal for 4 to 5 people, but can accommodate 6 using the lounge. The bathroom has a bath with shower and basin and there is a separate WC.

The kitchen is fully equipped (4 ring hob, oven/microwave, dish washer, washing machine etc.) and the table seats 8 comfortably. Patio doors lead out to a large private terrace ideal for a BBQ and sun bathing in the spring and summer. There are stunning views over the Abondance valley and Mont de Grange, that you can contemplate while deciding on your plans for the day.

The lounge has two sofas, a satellite TV with DVD player and a music centre and radio.

A path leads to the centre of the village of Chatel which has numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The swimming pool and Super Chatel telecabin are also a short walk away, though we recommend other ski areas for all but beginners.
