Relais Apartment
Built in 1833 this farmhouse has been lovingly converted to a family home with 3 guest bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. With the addition of a spacious lounge the guest accommodation is usually let as an independent apartment, sleeping up to 9 people. The mixture of new and original wood features, antique and modern furniture, retains the charm of the original Abondance architecture but provides all the style and comforts sought by today's holidaymaker.
The largest bedroom has a double bed and an additional single bed fashioned from cow stalls! It is decorated with a traditional "Poya" wood painting. The bathroom has a shower, bath, WC and basin. The second room has twin beds and a bathroom with 90 cm shower, WC and basin. The third, with a view of Mont de Grange, has a double bed and a fully tiled bathroom with bath, WC and Basin. We provide colour coordinated bed linen and towels for your stay, so there are no extra charges.
The lounge is equipped with a small kitchen area (2 ring hob, oven, microwave and fridge), and dining table. It has 2 sofas and a double convertible bed to relax on in front of an open fire. . A wide screen TV, DVD player, radio and a music centre are also provided.
Because this is also our home we can offer further comforts to our guests, with a full size sauna, an outdoor spa and, during the summer, a boules pitch and BBQ.
Unfortunately, because of our own cat, Montague, we are unable to accept guest's pets at the Relais.
